15 year old WIM B Savitha Shri secured Bronze Medal in the World Women Rapid Chess Championship 2022 at Almaty, Kazakhstan ahead of many fancied players. She started as 36th seed in the championship and performed exceedingly well to score 8/11 to clinch the medal.
