Velammal FIDE Rated and Blitz Chess Tournament was organised at Velammal Vidayala, Karambakkam on 2nd & 3rd November, 2019. The tournament was inaugurated by Shri. P Stephen Balasamy, General Secretary, TNSCA in the school campus in the presence of Shri. Anantharam R, Vice President, TNSCA and Chief Arbiter for the tournament.
This tournament attracted 6 Grandmasters, 8 International Masters, 1 Women Grandmaster and 4 Women International Masters. Top five boards where given Live podcast.
