International School Team Chess Championship was held at Chongqing, China from 27th to 29th September, 2017. Totally 14 teams with 12 Flags – India, America, Australia, Canada, China(got three teams), France, Hungary, Iran, Poland, Qatar, Russia and Singapore went on with for seven rounds and our Indian boys, Master Rohith Krishna S (TN), Master Manish Anto Cristaino F (TN), Master Pranesh M (TN) and Master Sreeshwan Maralakshikari (AP) lifted the trophy. China 1 and Hungary came 2nd & 3rd respectively.
Three players were from Tamil Nadu and one player from Andhra Pradesh and Mr. Muthukumar M was the team manager for our Indian team.
