Tamil Nadu State Chess Arbiter Examination 2025
The Executive Committee of the Tamil Nadu State Chess Association has decided to organize a State Arbiter Examination for the title of State Arbiter.
Tamil Nadu State Chess Association will be conducting a State Arbiter Examinations on 09/03/2025 at the following four centres / districts mentioned below:
Kanchipuram / Tiruvarur / Dharmapuri / Tirunelveli
Eligibility:
- Candidates must have registered as player only with Tamil Nadu State Chess Association. If not registered, please click the link to register : https://registration.tamilchess.com/new-register/
- Candidates who have completed 18 years of age as on 09.03.2025.
- Knowledge in the game of chess and knows to play the game.
- Knowledge in Basic FIDE laws of chess.
Fees: Rs.2000/- per candidate will be fees for the above examination.
Strictly manual applications will not be entertained.
How to apply:

- Select the respective Examination Center from the dropdown menu.
- Enter your active TNSCA – and click fetch data. Your registration details will be displayed.
- Click “Proceed to Payment” to complete the registration.
Please note that those who score 80% and above will be awarded the title of Tamil Nadu State Arbiter by Tamil Nadu State Chess Association.
Last Date:
Last date for submitting the online application will be on or before 5.00 PM 03/03/2025 (Monday).
- Registration for the Examination would be limited on first cum first basis.
- After obtaining the recommendations from the concerned district chess association, the list of provisionally selected candidates will be uploaded in tamilchess.com website after the last date. (However the candidates should contact their respective district chess association for their recommendations).
Reporting & Registration:
Reporting Time & Date: 9.00 AM on 09-03-2025(Sunday) at the venue.
Doubt clearing session:
A doubt clearing session by two International Arbiters will be held in the morning from 09.30 AM to 1.30 PM. The venue details and instructions will be sent separately to all the participants later.
Examination:
Examination will be held from 02.30 PM to 04.30 PM.
Lunch & Refreshment:
Free lunch and refreshments will be provided to all the participants on the day of the examination. One or two rooms (separately for men and women) will be arranged for the participants to refresh themselves on 09.03.2025 morning.
