MIET TN State level Chess Tournament 2016 was organized by the Madurai Institute of Engineering & Technology from 27-2-2016 to 28-2-2016 at MIET, Madurai. The tournament was inaugurated by honorable Dr.R. Manikandan, Principal of Madurai Institute of Engg. & Tech in the presence of Mr.Stalin, Physical Director of MIET.
125 Players from Various States took part in this MIET TN State level Chess Tournament 2016.
Prizes were distributed by Dr.R. Manikandan, Principal of Madurai Institute of Engg. & Tech, in the Presence of Rev. Dr. Arul Arasu Israel, President, MDCA.
In the final round in U-13 Category Master Dhanush Ragav from Dindigul defeated Srinivasa Raj from Madurai and became U-13 Champion.
In the final round in U-17 Category Master Girinath BS from Madurai defeated Selvamurugan B from Madurai and became U-17 Champion.
