Indian chess prodigy D Gukesh, 17 years, received a warm welcome upon his return from the Candidates Chess Tournament in Toronto, Canada. Tamil Nadu State Chess Association and AICF officials and Velammal School students were present on the occasions. Hundreds awaited him at the airport, including students from Velammal Vidyalaya. Gukesh thanked his supporters, including his parents, coach, and school.
