The 4th Kanyakumari International FIDE Rated Below 1500 Chess Tournament 2018 being organized by KKDCA commenced with a flying start on 23rd Feb 2018.
264 players from various parts of our Country, especially Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharasthra, Pondicherry and Kanyakumari participated in this event. One player from England participated.
Nagasri Saikanth from Andhra Pradesh has clinched the Winners title and has become this year 2018’s 4th KK FIDE Rated Below 1500 Chess Tournament Champion.
Prizes were distributed by the Chief Guest, Founder & Chairman of Stella Mary’s College of Engineering, Dr. Nazerath Charles. The gathering was welcomed by the Principal, Dr. R. Suresh Premil Kumar. followed by Mr. P. Rengitham, Director of Stella Mary’s College of Engineering, felicitated the Chief Guest. Mr. A.F. Rex, Secretary of Kanyakumari District Chess Association was also present.
